Shih Tzu Rescue
BELLA was found running in the street in a Dallas-area
subdivision. She is an adorable, loving litle girl, but of course,
she has heartworms.
Because of the long recovery period(six weeks) and the expense
of treating ($450-$600) heartworms, most dogs that arrive at
animal control facilities with heartworm disease are, out of
necessity, euthanized. Death would have been this dog's fate
without the donors that allow us to save and treat medical
conditions like this.
