BENJI is an adorable, sweet, loving little four year old lhasa boy who was
left at a DFW-area Animal Control facility. Unfortunately, Benji has
heartworms and a cherry eye which just about sealed his fate. No one visiting
the shelter could see past his little medical problems so we picked him up.
A "cherry" eye is an inflamed tear duct. Sometimes, they can be treated with
antibiotic ointment, but just as many times, it requires surgery.
We will have his inflamed tear duct tacked down and treat him for his
heartworms.
