| Lone Star Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso Rescue received an email about a little stray lhasa apso that was found in a north Houston neighborhood. When our volunteer saw this little dog, she just about broke out crying. The person finding him named him Lucky Boy, but we changed it to Dexter. So we call him Lucky Boy Dexter! |

sarcoptic mange and
demodex. He also has

Lucky Boy has been responding to doxycycline for two weeks and is
significantly much better. He is perky and one of the sweetest little dogs.
He came home to a foster home this weekend and we found out that at
some time in his past, Lucky Boy Dexter has been a very well-traveled pet.
He jumped right into the car to come home and settled down right on the
seat. So sad that he went from obviously being loved to being in this
shape.

You can see it in his eyes - he KNOWS now that he will be loved. His body is still ravaged by the mange, but
