Shih Tzu Rescue
GINA
GINA came to us from a shelter in southern Louisiana.
We were told that she was a breeder cull and they couldn't
keep her because she had mammary tumors and bad skin.  When
we first saw the condition of Gina's skin and belly, we were
apalled.  She had a mammary tumor that was erupting.  (See
picture below).  Her skin was horrible, itchy and infected.

We knew we could help her but only with your help!

This is little Gina the day
we picked her up.  She
didn't feel well and you can
see, at the right, the nasty
erupting tumor.  We
immediately had surgery
performed on her.
You can see how her skin is wrinkled and
inflamed.  Significant hair loss also
underneath her entire body.  At first,
we suspected mange, but it turned out
to be simple allergies, most likely from
flea infestations and poor nutrition.
