These babies were in the direct path of
Hurricane Rita when it came to shore near
Beaumont TX in September. Their owner had
been hospitalized right before the hurricane
and the person entrusted to take care of
these dogs, evacuated from the city without
taking these babies with them. They survived
the storm but their home was badly damaged.
Rescuers were not able to get to them until a
few days after the storm.

Update 10/24/05: Katie has had surgery to
remove dermoid cysts from her head and
Prince has had surgery to remove a hernia.
They are now recovering in a foster home
anxiously waiting for their dad to leave the
hospital so they all can be together again.
Please help with the rescue and medical bills
for these little miracles.
