Landry
This is little Landry,  the paralyzed little boy.  He
was found by a good samaritan who caught two little boys
spraying him with a hose.  He was trying to drag himself
away, but couldn't escape.  She emailed us and we sent
someone over to pick him up first thing the next morning.

Landry's spinal column is severed and he will never walk
again.  He has to have his bladder expressed each day.  We
need funds for his wheelchair and heartworm treatment.
(Yes, this poor little guy has heartworms too!)  We are
also giving him acupuncture treatments to see if we can
stimulate his ability to urinate on his own.  Due to his
disabilities, he is in our Forever Foster program.

Please help Landry by making a donation that will help us
cover his treatment and wheelchair.

Thank You!
Thank you to all the wonderful
people who gave to help Landry. He
even received more than what was
needed for his medical expenses! All
of the extra donations have been
applied toward the medical needs of
our other needy fluffs. Thank you
again for your generosity!
Update April 9, 2005 - Landry gets a wheelchair!
Connie Maynard, one of our new adopters, has donated a wheel chair
for Landry!  Connie has such a big heart for the little fluffs.  She
originally purchased the wheelchair four years ago for her beloved
Waldo who's hind legs had finally given out.  March 9th, 2005 Waldo
crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  He had been Connie's loving companion
for 16 years.  Landry's wheelchair is donated in memory of Waldo.

Connie said " I know Waldo is in Doggie Heaven saying you go Landry!!!"
Below is Waldo's photo "I AM BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN!!!"  Of
course, Waldo no longer needs a saddle.  In Heaven he's running and
playing on all four legs, and is being lovingly cared for by the One who
watches over even the sparrows!
