Miche broke her front leg while running in the
back yard. It was broken in the worst possible
place - right at the "elbow". At less than 3 months
old, her bones are so small that it is difficult to
repair. The surgeon was finally able to insert 2 of
the smallest screws and a small pin to keep the bone
together. Although we have tried to keep her off
her feet, the pin they inserted is trying to back out.
She has had to wear an "E collar" all the time so she
cannot lick the stitches. She goes back to the
surgeon in a week or so for x-rays and we're hopeful
that everything will be all right so that she will have
full range of motion and will not have a limp.
