These three girls and one boy again were rescued from a life lived in a cage.  Food and
water are limited and human contact is rare.  These dogs were so frightened and shy that it
took weeks of patient coaxing and encouraging to even be able to reach out and touch
these little ones.  But love and great care made the difference and these four will live a life
now with a family, plenty of food and toys and the companionship these deserve.
Do you have what it takes to adopt a puppy mill girl or boy?

Puppy Mill Rescues
One of the hardest parts of rescue is dealing with Puppy Mills.  Sometimes hundreds
of dogs are kept in wire cages stacked many layers deep. The males and females are
never taken out to play or run or for any human contact.  Someone comes by one a
day or once a week and dumps food in the cage and refills the water bowl. The bowls
are never cleaned and the food is usually the cheapest and therefore the poorest
quality that the miller can get by with.  Dogs on the bottom are covered with the
urine and feces that falls from the cages above. The dogs are filthy, sick and
completely withdrawn from lack of contact with anyone or anything.  Whenever we
can, we do whatever we can to get these dogs out of this life of misery.  Here are
some of the few out of thousands that we have been able to save.
