Tosca Harris is a sweet Lhasa girl
who was left at a local shelter. She had no
chance of adoption there because she was
heartworm positive. Treating heartworms
is too expensive and lengthy for shelters
to treat so their only hope of adoption is
to be first taken into a rescue group for
treatment. She also had some infected
skin wounds that required treatment. We
have treated Tosca and she is now
heartworm free, skin has healed, and she
is ready for adoption.
