Traveler Woods came into our program
by a good smartaian who found him wandering
around their neighborhood. from their
email- "We have a dog in our neighborhood
who resembles "Cinderella" on your before &
after photos. Actually I think this poor
little thing looks worse than Cinderella. I
cannot tell if she lives across the street
from us or just sleeps over there. She has
been coming over the last week, and I have
been feeding her & giving her water. I
think it is a female, but I am not 100% sure.
She wags her tail & I am just heart broken
when I see her staggering up the driveway.
I think she moves like this because of her
hair being totally matted & bound up. I
have not tried to pick her up so not sure
about her personality beyond the pats on the
head I have given her. I have called my vet
& they cannot give us a break on the bill if
we vaccinate her & have her totally shaved.
Is there any way your program can help?
My husband and I were ready to take her to
the vet last week, but then we were afraid
if we could not find her a home. Of course
no one in our neighborhood has an interest
or cares. Please let me know. I live in
xxxxxx. I would keep her for myself, but I
already have 4 small inside fur kids & 2
outside larger dogs who adopted me.
He is very thin and very anemic. He is
hospitalized right now. Traveler will need
$550 to cover his vet bills - PLEASE HELP
by being one of Travelers Angels!!
