This page has several pictures and takes a long time to load.   But, PLEASE wait, it's worth it!!
For the most part, we can fund normal veterinary expenses from the adoption donations we receive.  But, when we take in a dog with serious illness or disease, it gets very difficult.  Most rescue groups do not take in the very ill and the very old dogs.  They often find it too difficult to find the funds and the time to help them recuperate.  We're lucky, we have a wonderful foster network that WANTS to help the ones that are the most needy.  And, we've seen that your generousity has allowed us to achieve this desire. 

All of the money donated to these little dogs is earmarked for THEIR individual medical expenses, including hospitalization, treatment and medicines.  All other expenses are covered by the foster families or by other fund raising activities.  
These little dogs have already had all of their medical bills covered by wonderful, wonderful, very generous people. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

It's very sad, but recently, we've had quite a few people make significant pledges and then not send in the donation.   What's sad is that when we get pledges and go forward with the treatment, we are in a real bind when we don't get the money in.  In fact, we either have to delay treatment until all of the pledges are honored (which is not practical with some of the life threatening problems these poor little dogs have, or we have to turn away the next pitiful, helpless Tiger or Helen.  Neither of these options is good.  It's not like we are forcing anyone to fill out that pledge form.  We aren't making up these forms ourselves, YOU fill them out.  Following is a list of the people who have made pledges that we have not yet recieved.  We have emailed and, in some cases, snail mailed, these people numerous times to no avail.    PLEASE, PLEASE send in your pledge.
