Our supporters are wonderfully generous and at times, we receive more than we need for the medical
expenses of a specific dog. Please indicate in the comments if you would like us to refund your
donation if we have already received enough on that specific dog. Otherwise we will apply it to the
medical bills of another needy dog.

The mission of Lone Star Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso Rescue is to save as many
lhasas and shih tzu as possible. We believe that every dog deserves a
chance to live a happy and healthy life.

Consequently, we often take in some very sick dogs. We find that with
proper veterinary care, MOST of these dogs are "repairable" and will live
healthy and comfortable lives as long as we can give them the opportunity to
"heal."

Even with the contributions of our wonderful vets, some of these dogs have
medical bills in the thousands of dollars. On this page are some of those
that desperately need your help.

The little guys and gals listed here have significant extraordinary veterinary
bills.

The normal expenses, such as spay/neuter, shots, microchipping, etc., are
almost always covered by the adoption fee. But, in order to get these little
fluffs ready for adoption, they will incur significantly more than their adoption
fee will cover.

They all need someone to sponsor their veterinary bills over and above the
normal costs.
