| Vonnie Vonnie was a breeder's dog. She came to us with very little hair and was chewing her feet and legs raw. She also had THE WORST case of intestinal and tape worms I've EVER seen. |

| Cherie Cherie came from a puppymill in North Texas. She weighed 6.6 pounds when we got her - she was 8 years old. She had ehrlichia and almost died from amenia. Cherie had two blood transfusions just to keep her alive. Today, Cherie is a gorgeous, spoiled-rotten princess. Healthy, she weighs 11 pounds. |

| Cookie Cookie was a sweet little dog that was auctioned off at a charity auction in north Texas. Then she was thrown in the back yard for a year. Cookie was two years old. |

| Midge Midge was a sweet, tiny, very sick little dog when we were called to come get her from a north Houston shelter. She had TERRIBLE skin allergies and her entire body was infected. When I first picked her up, she lay like a limp dishcloth in my arms. And, she smelled awful. You can see the dried, crusty puss on her legs and the swollen, stretched skin under her neck and on her legs. After her foster/adoptive mom took her to the vet, we also found that she had several broken ribs and a broken pelvis. The vet believes the breaks were from being kicked very hard. |
